This is how the NFL protests end. Not with a bang but with a boatload of shame. And they deserve it. All of them because they are a rotten organization and are complicit.
They have a culture that is demeaning to women – we all know Jameis Winston lost an endorsement deal for mocking a female reporter.
But it goes much deeper. Remember Ray Rice? The guy who knocked his wife out cold in an elevator? And the NFL gave him a slap on the wrist until the video leaked and shocked the world.
The NFL is hiding a dark secret and it has just been exposed. Thanks to Vice and USA Today for compiling this list.
The list of shame, for that, is what it will be forever known.
And as October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month it is a perfect time to remind the NFL protesting players about their shameful and disgraceful treatment of women.
The list of players who have been accused of sexual or physical assault, i.e. The List of Shame. NFL players living in glass mansions ought not to throw stones.
